Health-Supervised Support for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
All Developmental Disabilities Services are delivered under Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and include daily assistance, health monitoring, and structured routines. Services are provided by trained Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who operate within health service guidelines.
DDS Health Services Provided under the HCBS Waiver
GMHS delivers the following DDS services with an emphasis on safety, routine, and health oversight:
- Behavior Support Services – Structured behavioral support delivered in coordination with care plans to promote safety, consistency, and emotional regulation.
- Companion and Day Support Services – Health-supervised daily support focused on routine engagement, safety, and structured activity.
- Day Habilitation (DSP- led) – Structured daytime programs focused on functional skill development, health-safe activities, and routine building.
- In-Home Supports (DSP- led) – Health-oriented assistance within the individual’s home, supporting daily living activities and safety.
- Residential and Supported Living Services – Supervised living environments that provide daily assistance, health oversight, and structured routines.
- Respite Services (Daily and Hourly) – Temporary care is delivered under health-supervised conditions to ensure continuity and safety.
